Ching was born in Hong Kong and moved to Canberra for the study of physiotherapy.  He graduated with a Masters of Physiotherapy from the University of Canberra, following a Bachelor of Chemistry with Honours from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Ching has worked in high-performance and community sport environments, including with the ACT Brumbies (Super Rugby and Super W), Queanbeyan Whites Rugby Union, and Eastlake Demons AFL Club. He is interested in sports injury, musculoskeletal injury and rehabilitation. With a strong sporting background, Ching grew up participating in a variety of sports including soccer, basketball, swimming, windsurfing, canoeing, and rowing. This firsthand experience enhances his practical understanding of athlete needs across multiple disciplines.

Ching is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. He values clear, inclusive communication to foster a collaborative approach in physiotherapy and strives to make rehabilitation an empowering process for all clients. He also holds Level 1 Sports Trainer certification and a Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coaching Accreditation with ASCA.
