Dr. Yang XU obtained a Bachelor degree in Medicine from the famous Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in China.
Yang has over 30 years of rich practical experience, and she emphasizes compassion and empathy. Extensive post graduate training has been undertaken across a range of areas by Yang. She has been providing her high standard of service and holistic acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine in Canberra since 2000. In addition to treating general medical problems Yang also has special interests in pain management, improving the immune system by TCM dietary, lifestyle, and other approaches, E.N.T complaints such as rhinitis, sinusitis, and others, women’s health specializing in menstrual irregularities, morning sickness and sostnatal support, as well as female and male fertility.
Yang is a Fellow member of AACMA and provides the nationally registered services with Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal medicine and Remedial Massage in Australia. She is a provider for Comcare, work and accident compensation, and all other major private health insurance companies.
Prior to coming to Australia, Yang had been a physician, senior lecturer, and university researcher in Chengdu University of TCM.
Yang is also an active volunteer for St. John Ambulance ACT. She enjoys cooking, gardening, dancing and photography in her spare time.
